I didn't have high expectations when I bought this album a few years ago (it was the last U2 album I bought before ATYCLB came out, along with October) as I had heard that it was not well received. However over time it has become one of my favourite albums and the new material some of my favourite U2 songs. The only song that didn't really work too well was Love Rescue Me and I'll have to agree with the critic who said that Bono's and Dylan' voices mix like oil and water (though the live version with B.B. King kicks ass). Desire, When Love Comes To Town, God Part 2, Heartland, Angel of Harlem and All I Want Is You rank among my top picks for U2 songs.
