I only got the Rattle And Hum Chart Positions for the USA. Here they are, all 38 weeks.

14-5-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-2
3-2-9-9-10-11-15-17-18-28
29-33-36-45-50-53-73-76-78-105
109-117-141-148-185-175-188-188

Despite the fact that R&H spent six weeks at #1, clearly ATYCLB has charted better.

After 40 weeks, R&H was out of the Billboard Top 200. In contrast, after 40 weeks, ATYCLB just slipped out of the Top 100 - and it returned a few weeks later. R&H spent 23 weeks in the U.S. Top 40, while ATYCLB spent 22 weeks there. However, R&H only spent a mere 29 weeks in the Top 100, while ATYCLB has spent 47 - and counting - weeks there.

Therefore, even though R&H was released in the "more generous" pre-SoundScan era, clearly ATYCLB has more chart success. This bodes well for ATYCLB to eventually reach 4x if not 5x Platinum someday (as R&H did) in the U.S. Clearly ATYCLB will have sold over 3 million copies in the U.S. to customers before it finally exits the Top 200.

In other words, I think this is proof that U2 have truly succeeded with ATYCLB, even though it may not have had quite as impressive chart run as other U2 albums.
