good song
not great on its own, but fun in the context of the album
which makes it a 6 on my U2 scale

Bad, Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed Car, and Moment of Surrender, a trilogy of tortured soul ballads, and all completely different lyrically and musically.

Get's a 9 from me, love the ZooTV performances.

8. I respect.

Love the USSR sample in the intro, and the different drum layers make this, along with the Zoo TV performances, worthy of an 8.

It's not everyday you have at least 2 simultaneous drums tracks from Larry Mullen. 8.

It was never one of my favorites, nor something I thought was good from them musically or lyrically. I'd give it a 3.

5. It's better live, but I think it's largely due to Bono's outrageously entertaining performance as MacPhisto rather than actual improvement in the song itself.

5.

I like the groove of it, but like most of this album the lyrics come up short.

Yeah.... no.

Awesome lyrics, and one of U2's best grooves, better than any groove on Pop, I'd say. 9, if I could vote.

And in my opinion, Zooropa is lyrically the best U2 album.
