I gave it a 5, it's a very meh song for me. I mean it's early U2, there's something going on about it I like but in the end it doesn't deliver much
 
6. Not a remarkable song, and definitely one of the weaker tracks from the era, but I'm a sucker for early U2.
 
I am not afraid to admit that I gave it a 1. It is clearly a weak song. We all love U2 here. This is early U2 and some early U2 is really good, but I am not kidding myself here, Boy/Girl is just not a good song. It's poor songwriting. But yeah, no biggie as this is where they began
 
Wow, I actually really dig this song. Always have. Solid melody, never really goes off the rails...I consider it an early gem. 7.
 
The more I think about/listen to this song, the more I realize that that I overrated it at 3.

Bono was generally awful before 1980.
