Isn't it ironic that Montreal got New Year's Day and then I got New Year's Day at the Panthers v. Montreal Canadiens game tonight on New Year's Eve?


While in conversation with a U2 fan via Facebook, who happened to be at that show and got NYD. Who is also a Canadien fan?


More reasons to give it a 10.

The only thing they could do better with NYD is go into the "ooohh..maybe the time is right...oh, maybe to-night!" and then outtro with the chorus. That is all. Perfection otherwise.

NYD stands as that one U2 song that people who don't worship them seem to have in their music collection. I love this song and the lyrics are awesome, but it is a little overrated. Still, it gets a 9 from me.
