Hey guys, I used to have this AWESOME cover of U2 doing "Rain" by the Beatles in concert. Anyway I lost it and tried downloading it. Now I got this other one (which is real good too but...) with Bono tacking on Dylan's "Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" toward the end but its not as good. Can anyone help with me recover that first version? I'm guessing it was from the Joshua Tree/Lovetown tour era. Much appreciated!!!!

(not that I download......illegally, bderp!)

I had an ancient cover (on vinyl actually). It was a bootleg called something like "U2 - The Longest Day". It was from the Unforgettable Fire Tour (circa 1985) and was live from the Milton Keynes Bowl (which I think is in either England or Ireland).

Anyway, the reason it was called "The Longest Day" was because the entire show (outdoors) was played in a driving rainstorm. That was the first cover I'd ever heard them play of the Beatles' "Rain". The played a pretty full version of it as I recall. Good Luck.
