Question about the vertigo remixes

I have a question about the Vertigo Jacknife Lee Remixes...I download the three of them(minus the instrumental version) from the net a while ago. The times on them are as follows:

7" 3:15
10" 4:17
12" 5:45

BUT

the times listed on both the ITunes store and U2wanderer.org say

7"3:08
10" 4:13
12" 5:36

Can anyone explain this?

Some of the files on the net are ripped from vinyl which is VERY dependant on the speed of the turntable.

Hardly any turntables actually play at exactly 45 or 33 rpm resulting in either slower of faster song files.

I have a few of these also and I can here a few "clicks" from a bit of dust on the vinyl.

Thank you, that explains a lot...indeed, the "12 jacknife lee remix has a lower pitch then it does when I play a different file I downloaded of it...I would assume the turntable the first file was ripped from was playing too slow.
