Question about making a VCD

I don't really know where to post this, but I'm sure the moderators will move it to the right place.

I downloaded the Sydney show as a 'movie clip.' I then burned the show to a cd, hoping to make a VCD. However, my DVD player would not play the disc. My DVD player plays everything basically, so I think there's just some format issue.

Is there some specific program that converts 'movie files' into playable VCD files?

Thanks.

Nero does it, I think.

You first need to make sure that your mpeg is VCD ready. Not all of them are and if it isn't, then the VCD you burn will not play correctly (or sometimes at all). I forget the name of the program that you can drop your mpeg on and it will 'correct' it (and even if I could remember the name, I'm on a Mac and it is probably different for a PeeCee), but you can go to dvdrhelp.com and read up on it there.
