What happened?

More massive bushfires.

She lives in one of the badly hit areas. She managed to escape harm earlier this year, and Im hoping she was again.

Im hoping the worst she has is chronic smoke inhalation like most of us around these parts.

My prayers are with Pamela this Christmas that she and her family are safe, and that she will check in the forum to let us know. Thanks Angela for caring and bringing this to our attention.

THANKS so much Angela and everyone else for your concerns. Fortunately we are all OK here, but it has been quite frightening. There was one fire quite near to us, but that is well under control now. There are still huge fires burning out of contro about 10klm away, but the wind is taking them away from us.
Angela, how are you going? I thought you lived around Glenmore Park. I hope everything is OK. Thanks so much for posting. I really appreciated it !!!

this is so horrible, and right around the Holidays too.
