Pop vs. HTDAAB

For me, this one is very tough...both are very good albums, but neither is my personal favorite..

From Pop, I love please and gone....also, discotheque, do you feel loved, mofo, and last night on earth are all very good tracks

My favorite tracks from HTDAAB are Love and Peace and Vertigo...with yahweh, miracle drug, sometimes, oots, and cobl following close behind...

im tempted to say i like the bomb better because it has a higher volume of good songs, but please and gone are just unbelievable (especially please, one of my personal favorites)

But, im still on the fence here...

what do you guys think???

I'd say Pop has better standalone tracks than HTDAAB, but for a solid album I'd say HTDAAB.

Pop. They're just all incredible songs. Especially Mofo, If God, Gone, and Please.

HTDAAB is a good record, even very good at times, but one gets the feeling it never reached its potential.

but theyre 1-2 on my favorite albums list. i just prefer atomic bomb, the songs relate more to me, and i just think theyre better. but i love pop too.

I'd disagree there, but it seems I'm one of the few who really likes HTDAAB's flow. As far as Pop goes, I think the placement of IGWSHA is awful (I could live with SATS being after it, but Mofo preceding it?!) and Miami --> The Playboy Mansion isn't very impressive either.

Not even close to me. HTDAAB for me is U2's 2nd best album. POP is only better than War and October and depending on how I feel it may rotate positions with R & H and ATYCLB. POP has some great songs but doesn't flow as an album, there for I find it to be hard listening to it straight through.
