We didnīt have the chance to save some money to go to, lets say, Miami, because they didnīt announce what were their plans from the beginning and nowadays I doubt they ever had plans of getting the tour outside the North America/Europe circuit. So many fans like me were sort of caught in a trap, know what I mean? Plus they only came here with Popmart. Just once, not twice. Red Hot Chili Peppers are coming for the 4th time, by the way (pun intended), and they are not exactly a small band or with a declining career and the economic situation here is not better than last year. And general admission is not a big deal for us. You cannot put and average of 100.000 people sat in the Morumbi stadium, and they didnīt play at Maracanã. Thatīs the average of audience they had, the 3 concerts they played here. With all that said, I really donīt care. But I still love U2. Their music plays a special role in my life. I was sure they'd make it to So. America too.  They did the promo concert in Brazil and released 'big girls are best' (inspired in Brazil, by Brazilians  ), so I thought it was a given U2 would bring Elevation tour there.oh, I voted Oct. 2004 but I'm ready any time. |

Basically, I think anything falling between March-May of 2004 is a sound bet. That way they have the summer open in case of some outdoor venues + any possible GA concerns. And plenty of time to make it to the southern hemisphere in the fall months. |

I went with April 2004 just because it gives them time to release there new album and to get ready for a great tour!!! At least I'm hoping it's around that time

I said March of next year as I think that they might do like a Best Off world tour, both of the best offs will be out and they can start it is Australia to catch the end fo our Summer and then if a new album comes out it might be a bit like Zooropa, where the album came out almost whilst they were still touring and then they incorporated it into the remainder of the shows----in all honesty I dont care when they tour again as long, as it comes to Australia, if they did another tour that did not come to Austrlaia, I dont know what I would do but I would be one very crushed U2 fan
