* people get ready

Is there a studio version of this?
I've become quite enthused abou it after seeing it on the Rattle & Rush DVD.

Also, anyone know why the crowd booed at the version this year with Bruce Springsteen?

I am gonna guess they were saying "BRRRRUUUCCEEEEE" which sounds an awful lot like a boo...

I'm sure this isn't the answer you're looking for, but just in case you're young and not familiar with the original version of "People Get Ready", I highly recommend that you listen to it, as well as other music by Curtis Mayfield and The Impressions.

That is correct. People weren't booing.
