This man has followed U2 almost since the start. How much has he to do with U2s greatness? I think he is a very important member of U2 - the fifth. He also attend almost every concert with U2. That's pretty special! He has much to do with what U2 is today! U2 own all their work because of this guy. Many artists today do not own all their work.


Here is to the greatest music manager, Paul McGuinnes! Cheers!

When U2 first met Paul McGuinness in a club after U2 performed..
the band commented on how Paul was able to get them served alcohol...... and the band's response was " this guy's gonna
come in handy....."
 
I talked with him at length in the elipse at San Diego 1. He was very humble and sincerely interested in what fans were thinking about the show. I think his worth to the band cannot be overstated. Almost like U2 without Bono.
 
He certainly helped them to build and maintain their career and he seems a very nice and genuine person. Very un rock'n'roll but still cool!
