What kind of job was it? I'm currently working on photojournalism. It's fun, but sometimes it's hard to get exciting subjects.

"He had lived through an age when men and women with energy and ruthlessness but without much ability or persistence excelled. And even though most of them had gone under, their ignorance had confused Roy, making him wonder whether the things he had striven to learn, and thought of as 'culture,' were irrelevant. Everything was supposed to be the same: commercials, Beethoven's late quartets, pop records, shopfronts, Freud, multi-coloured hair. Greatness, comparison, value, depth: gone, gone, gone. Anything could give some pleasure; he saw that. But not everything provided the sustenance of a deeper understanding." - Hanif Kureishi, Love in a Blue Time

I would say that I have the worst job. Completely underworked, underappreciated and disrespected.

thx deathbear. It got better once I left work! and blasted a couple 'Elevation' Tour boots through my stereo.
Talk to you later.

you know what helps me through? by barging through the rough times. by listening to the most depressing music i can find, and feeling sorry for myself. then, eventually things get better, sooner than later almost always.

i was listening to motion picture soundtrack on the stereo at work a while ago, and a co-worker groaned and asked if i was listening to funeral music. i told him no.

every time i put anything by radiohead on, my co-workers think im pycho. a friend of mine says he wants to commit suicide whenever he hears radiohead.

what am i even talking about.
