One month more: are you still in?

I've only heard new U2 or incidental, accidental snippets of old U2 since the end of August. That's two months of fasting. It's getting more difficult. This morning as I was selecting which cds to take to school to play on my new little stereo, I almost said wtf and grabbed October. But then I remembered why I decided to do this. I want it to be fresh again. So I can wait one more loooooooooong month.

Are you still in?

Vertigo don't count!!

It's new; the task was to avoid old.

So you're still in, issy!

I was in. Then you guys kept on talking about Acrobat...so I cracked! Then you kept on talking about Zoo Station...so I cracked again. Basically I have only cracked with Actung Baby. If I must confess everything, I did watch Red Rocks once but that's it!

But I am back on the wagon! Just nobody mention Acrobat for the next month!

I've actually been thinking about this and I'm gonna go the last month U2 free. But there is no way I could have made it since August!

i think i've been so excited about it all lately that i've literally had U2 on permanently. prob is now i'm hearing it, i'm no longer listening to it and i'm scared i'm going for overkill now.
so thats it, as of now, no more U2 till HTDAAB (except for vertigo...)

*deep breath* here goes...

I hadn't been listening to that much old stuff BEFORE Vertigo came out... but I just had to have more U2 than one song!

I've definitely been WAY OUT for awhile

No, I'm long gone now. I've been listening to U2 again for the last 2 weeks I think. I didn't think I was going to need it so bad! It feels good.

Why do you want to deprive yourself of good music? This doesn't make sense.

I'll sneak a listen every once in awhile, but I usually can't really enjoy it.

Soo close, I can almost hear it....

I'm so stressed with uni at the moment (3 weeks to go, yay!), I think I'd have a nervous break down if I couldn't take solace in u2. It keeps me sane!
