Thought it was interesting the true meaning behind the song "One". Bono mentioned it in the Rolling Stone interview. No one could ever have guessed it. Everyone always thought it was the Berlin wall.

Yea, wasn't that a recent explaination? A son has AIDS and doesn't know how to tell his father. Or something like that. I'm pretty sure it has alot of meanings to each member, and each fan. U2 songs are cool like that.

I’ve read that on other boards but whatever the original inspiration for the song was I’m sure that Bono has changed it by now. It’s a great song so insert your own meaning and enjoy.
