Official Tour Announcement Tomorrow?!?!

I'm not sure how accurate this is but I just recieved the following email from my @U2 mailing list:


Multiple sources have confirmed to @U2 that the official announcement of the
3rd leg of the Elevation 2001 Tour will happen tomorrow, Monday, September
10th. That's a day earlier than previously reported and rumored.

The announcement is expected to happen at 5:00 PM EST / 2:00 PM PST. It's
unknown how the announcement will be made and whether or not the band will
make an appearance somewhere to share the news.

good. the sooner an official announcement is made, the sooner propaganda will say whether or not they're offering tickets, and the sooner we can start setting to stone all the necessary plannings

Great! The sooner the better. I wonder if Propaganda is prepared for the deluge of emails they will get tomorrow asking if they will provide tickets. I hope they post on their site one way or the other what they will be doing rather than letting us know after the first round of tickets go on sale. My guess is that they wont provide this time due to the short time frame before the first show. I hope I'am wrong. This week is going to be ticket anxiety hell!

Yes Calluna I saw the same thing at @2u.com. Here's hoping that they are right!! And that Prop will be offering tickets!!

i'm so excited to find out about their third leg of the tour. initial reports said late august, so i was kinda wondering when they were going to announce, obviously late august has passed. thanks so much for the info calluna

cool but i dont know how this works.Will the tickets go on sale the day (time)they announce and will stors like tower records sell them or any other stors you may know about that sell tickets.
