I just heard this for the first time yesterday. It's an interesting arrangement of the song, but I wasn't blown away with it musically like many people have told me they were.
Listening to the verses, was anyone reminded of The Fly (Country Version) from the Hershey Tapes?
I was almost expecting a line about not being able to rhyme orange with orange. :O
