New Year's Day.... Reggae style?

I was skipping through the music channels and I saw OOTS video for the first time. After it finished New Year's Day came on but it was'nt sung by U2.

The beat was similar but was done Reggae style, and sung like UB40.

I don't what the band was called, but has anyone else heard or seen it?
