Set it straight: Target stores were started by Dayton's Corp. (now called Target Corp. because that is the true money maker of the company). Dayton's also owned Marshall Fields and Hudson's (now all called Marshall Fields). They also own Mervyn's.

I just spoke with a Target Corp. employee in PR, and he said he had no information at this time on a U2 Promo. He said that I should check back.

So, maybe, maybe not......

Recently, Target has done special promo CD's with Barbara Steisand and pianist Diana Krall. Pretty nice crowd for U2 to join!
