New album talk - album coming when fish start riding bicycles

Seems like a weird date for the single if the album is coming out in April. Very very early. Who the fuck knows
 
Didn't Larry say Album out in February to those guys in Nice a few weeks past ? :hmm:
Event then, Still a bit early for a first single unless they plan on releasing the album in December, which I doubt.

Also, radio sources are usually in the know if new music is on the way to the airwaves, they all want the exclusivity to get it played first...

Bono told Strombo last week that new music is coming very soon for his show to play...This seems legit and very possible.
 
If album is out in February, this would be too early to release the first single. Maybe they are releasing a brand new song not related to the new album to keep the fans happy while we wait :hmm:

Maybe its not now,didnt lady gagas new single come out in august when her album dosent even come out until november.

It could be, KOL did it with their latest album. First single mid-July and second 4 weeks later. That was 6 weeks before the album came out...

If they do this, then they must be confident and have a shitload of hits on the new record and plan on releasing 4-5 singles out of it, like they did with AB.

Wait..if February album was told by Larry to a German fan visiting Dublin and subsequently reported on a German U2 fan forum, why would a German radio announcement be first quoted on an Italian fan forum, and not the same - or even any - German one? Surely other German fans heard this on the radio and began discussing on their native forum? There should be a thread out there on said forum with German fans going ballistic right about now, right? :hmm:

Unless, of course, they are from Atlanta, Germany. Then they are probably lying. Or at least cheating.

We'll see. If a single is coming this year, why not chase a date closer to Christmas ?
