Okay, so I think that my girl is trying to put together some kind of b-day gathering for me... but not just any gathering, one with a famous band! Well, close to the real thing. A U2 cover band! Now, I don't want to get ahead of myself because I'm guessing that is what she going to have for me. I've been sitting down and thinking.... what would be the best set list where the best songs can come as one? Please feel free to participate in this fun set list. You can add, remove or shuffle songs around. Thanks.

You should really put Beautiful Day in here somewhere.

Beautiful Day is there....

Hola

I have an idea:

What about playing different setlists according to the different U2 eras? ;) that will bring to you and your band a lot of fun and hours of joy

I mean, for example, one day your band perform a War Tour show, with the setlist according to what U2 played in those days. Other day your band perform a Joshua Tree Tour show, then an Elevation Tour one, a Zoo TV gig, a Lovetown Tour night, etc, etc  with the clothes they used for each tour !!!.

All you have to do is go to www.u2tours.com and see what the band playing on every era

Most of highly reviewed tribute bands (for example, Genesis Musical Box or Pink Floyd The Surrogate Band ) perform shows from different eras with extraordinary musicalship  Also here in Chile there're a lot of great tribute bands (my closefriends from Beatlemen are a great example !) who perform shows with the clothes, characters, etc

It would be great if your band like to do something like that

Good luck

Yeah, they do play by era's at times. But being that this is going to be a one day event... a birthday event, I wanted to see what the best set list would be for one night. Having the most & best out of every era... catch my drift?
