My girlfriend isn't a huge U2 fan like myself, but she heard on the radio that Mysterious Ways has some sort of connection to the Beatles. Does anyone know anything about this?
 
It's friggin brilliant...like most Beatles songs. :drool:

Maybe the bassline remembers something from the liverp boys ? Dunno

Or maybe the chorus recalls , She loves you yeah yeah with / She moves in .....:wink:

Have never noticed that, but will check it out! I think MW as a mystical quality/sound & lyrics like some of the Beatles songs did - especially from Sgt. Peppers'

Not unless John the Baptist has a connection with the Beatles, cos in all the interpretations I've read, Johnny is John B, not John L.
