Not to be a copycat, but I agree completely. I never really got that into When Love Comes To Town or If God Will Send His Angels, but Drowning Man and Acrobat are two of my favorite U2 songs. And for the sake of originality, here are some others:

Some just suffer in this category because they've been played too much...I've always considered U2 one of the few "album bands" remaining; their singles aren't always the best representation of their work.
