Yesterday night, U2 won 2 "premios AMIGO", the spanish musical awards, for Best internationtal band and Best international album!
In year 2000...they played "beautiful Day" in this awards which are played live in the television (with high TV shares)...at the end of the song, BONO who had climbed the teathre steps where the show is made, hold a boy and made him dance.
When the showman said bye to U2....he began to shout:
" I have been given the hand by BONO!!!!
I have been given the microphone by BONO!!!
(and then holding up the microphone shouted)
....50.000 pesetas ( 300 dolars!!!),,,
the crowd obviously liked the joke
