Miss you sugar

I'm not sure if this applies on american cd's of htdaab but on the version I have, if you look on the underside of the cd where all the codes are, it says 'Miss you sugar'. I was told this was a message from bono to his dad, but I'm not sure.
If anyone has any info on this post it here,

Soz but I looked at other peoples views on this, (''miss you sugar'' mystery solved) all to do with real sugar. I don't believe this is what it really is. I think it has more levels with deeper meaning. But who knows????

It would seem odd that "Sugar" would refer to Bono's father.

IMO it refers to Ali.
