Midnight releases (LA or North)?

Anyone know of any midnight releases in the Los Angeles area and/or north towards Santa Barbara?

I have to work on Tuesday and won't be able to hit the store until later. It'll be the longest day if I have to suffer through it without getting my hands on that Collector's Box! Dammit!

If not, I think I feel a mystery illness coming on. *cough cough* But it should clear up by about 11am.

They usually have a pretty big mid night release at the Virgin Mega Store on Sunset. There are usually a couple hundred people or so. I haven't checked with them, but that would be your best bet.

I am closer to the Ventura area. I wonder if anything is going on up here? I would hate to have to drive that far. It'd be kindof fun to be part of the festivities though.
