Well, my thoughts? It might be because it's new, but I've never smiled and cheered like this. I think it's better than Pop, which means it's amongst the 3 best albums they've made in my opinion - if it's better than Rattle and Hum - I'm not sure yet - but it's amazing, and All Because of You is so RAW!

I take my review back, every song is amazing and and a 10, maybe I'll give OSC a 8/10, and Yahweh a 8.5, but everything else is incredible. AMAAW is so soulful.

the whole album is strong... i'd say besides vertigo, all the rocking parts are a new style for u2: sort of a classic rock base with unforgettable fire guitar over it at times and achtung guitar at times. the slower parts are a lot like unforgettable fire with the guitar and strings with an added piano and acoustic guitar component.

when the reviewers said the second half of the album was "slower," i was worried that it was going to be REALLY slow. but there is a certain energy that begins with vertigo and runs all the way through to yahweh. there are no points on the album where the energy lags...there's something there within every song that keeps your heart beating quickly.
