VBR (Very High Quality) HTDAAB Full Album

for VBR quality version of HTDAAB go to http://oink.me.uk/ and sign up and download the HTDAAB torrent from the browse section (search for it in the rock music, the name should be "U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb [2004/MP3/208kbps VBR]" without the quotes) and then you should be able to grab the album using BitTorrent to download the torrent file as long as you are signed into the OiNK website

Windows Media Player 10 already has the album entries in its online directory so it downloaded the album art for me, kinda cool

yes that is correct, its used to keeps file sizes down.

yes... parts of the song (even if for a fraction of a second) that have a smaller range of frequences are encoded at a lower bitrate ... while the more loaded portions are in higher bitrates. most songs that are professional produced have a clear/rigid division of frequences and intensity ... therefore it is a very efficient way of keeping the size of the files low while keeping the quality high.

You CAN log in to the website at the beginning of this thread and signup. You may just need to refresh several times if too many users are logged in.

However, it appears as if these MAY be the exact same files as have already been uploaded????

If you are able to log in, grab the torrent, and download, can anyone who understands VBR post and say if these are different???

it should be automatic. do you have crazy lines going to the beat of the music? right click on that and choose "album art" for the visualization.

It looks like these are VBR, so the bitrate won't be exact on some players.
