Hopefully for those many interferencers who live in countrires where we cannot get access to itunes will be helped to get access to the 10 unreleased tracks

To redeem your coupon you have to go to your account click redeem and type the code in - right now it is saying that it is not available right now so it looks like I'm staying up until midnight

It looks like you can buy most of them for 99 cents, but there are a few that are "album only" meaning they're only available if you buy the whole sha-bang.

Still, there are some one here I don't have in my collection, and of course, you can hear snippets of all of the songs, which is cool.

Oh. I didn't notice that at first. Too bad. But it looks like some cool stuff is still available a la carte. Good Lord, "Beautiful Ghost" is a gorgeous title for a song! I never even heard rumors of its existence until now.

I guess this could have been a whole lot better, but I'm still pumped. I really want to download the iTunes software now and start buying some songs, but I'm afraid if I start listening to new U2 now I will be up until 3 a.m.! It also sounds they still have a few bugs to work out if some people aren't able to download.

The unreleased demos look very interesting. I have feeling that most of them are raw versions of tracks that made the albums. But that is still cool. I just wish they had released a real box set with some of this stuff on CD and not Itunes.

The most interesting things are the things you cannot buy a la carte, like the rare stuff.

Almost all of the singles/b-sides and albums are available single song.

I just clicked on "add album" then went to my shopping cart and bought the contents. I started at around 11:45pm my time, I think.

It's gotten through maybe 40 tracks so far. I'm about to head to bed so I can wake up and enjoy some u2 with my breakfast.

i'm a little concerned actually that maybe I SHOULDN'T be able to download. Maybe I'm too early and things aren't in place yet. The only way to find the set is by searching for it, after all.

Last Thursday night the new Eminem was up but it cost 19.95 or sometihng like that. Then the price went to 9.99. Clearly they got it up and then adjusted it for some reason. I don't pretend to understand the complexities of running an online music store, so I hope I'm not taking it off the shelf before the product's ready, so to speak.

Then again, I worry a lot.

Good point, but I'd bet they are using I-Tunes as a "tester market". If it sells like hotcakes on I-Tunes, they'll do it for real.

At least then they'd probably be able to release the covers.

Tried to buy "Smile" and this is what it told me:

The availability of the item changed while you were using the store. The same item maybe be available with a different price or somewhere else in the store.

Looks like they're fixing it!

Some of the Unreleased and Rare tracks are NOW available for single purchase. The only ones in that "album" that arent at this moment (it says Work Only) are Levitate and Love You Like Mad.

for making the VAST majority of the complete U2 available for .99 cents a pop.

I get the same message when trying to buy. I am also told the item is not available yet when I try to use my coupon. Sucks but I guess I'll have to wait.

I just tried to click on purchasing a single song and got the same message. So, despite the fact that I'm downloading the song at the moment, it says I can't do it. VEry odd...

Hang in there. Looks worth the wait to have the early stuff, the Boston show, etc in a polished quality. Yay!

Kudos for what? Eventually U2 would release a box set, this set is great for people that dont have everything but for a lot of us who do have everything its a waste of money and theres very little there to be interested in.

Apple is just a big stupid conglomerate, in a sense U2 is a conglomerate as well, but its U2's deal, Apple are just the peddlers.

The first time I got on itms was going ot let my buy but I had forgot to add my coupon so I cx - after that it will not let me buy it - but it does look like they are tweaking it a bit right now
I guess the folks at itunes didn't realize there would be a bunch of rabid fans waiting for the set to become available

While I'm not terribly impressed with this (but I do like the unreleased demos), I do like the fact that they are finally releasing the 1981 Boston and 1989-90 Dublin show. Two great shows that deserve a release in some official form or another.
