LiveJournal help...

I want to create a journal at the site, but I need a code from an existing user to join, or I can join on my own but I have to pay a fee (which I don't want to do)

So I was wondering if anyone here who has a LiveJournal would be kind enough to give me a code so I can join... you can email it to me sweetheart81522@hotmail.com

I have a Live Journal, but I have no clue about a code for new users...I never had to have such a thing (and I don't pay for mine either).

Now I'm just as confused, because the site says an exisiting user has to give me a code

I logged in and created a new code...I emailed it to you...I hope it works!

I don't know when they started doing that...anybody used to be able to sign up!

They started the whole code thing to keep new people from signing up all the time. The site has had major major issues regarding site reliability because of all the people signing up. I don't know if you noticed, but since Jan 2001 it has always been going down time and time again.
