from nick,
i don't understand why u2 does not release
live concert cds, i know there are a ton
of bootlegs out there, but it is hard
to track them down and most of them
are not that good in terms of official
sounding releases, i know they release
concert videos, but you can't play those
in the car and i don't always want to watch
a video to listen to music, does anyone
have any inside info as to why they won't
release live cds, it isn't like it would
take much of their creative time to do it
i mean if they are releasing another best
of compilation, the least we could have
gotten is a live release from this tour on
cd, am i alone here
thanks and peace to all

There are boots of every show, and fans are very good about trading with each other. Look into this. U2 doesn't mind, as long as they are just shared and not sold for money, or they will find where you park you car LOL!

Have any of you guys listened to just the audio from Elevation Boston?? When I did that, I was shocked at how different an experience it was -- THAT'S the "live CD" we've been waiting for. And yes, there's plenty of boots that sound great, to be had around here for merely the price of blanks and postage. But for "official releases," artinis1, get your hands on Live in Boston.

Wouldn't it be cool if the next issue of PROPAGANDA included an audio CD of ELEVATION LIVE FROM BOSTON, much like the HASTA LA VISTA CD was to POPMART LIVE IN MEXICO CITY video?
