I wasn't actually aware of them while they were around, but I was introduced to their music and read up about them and laughed a lot. They were quite the band.

Are they the group that got Tammy Wynette to record with them? I don't know anything about them ,except for that song.
T"hey're justified and they're ancient...." I liked it and I heard Tammy say what a buzz it was to work with them.
What is their story bullet and where are they now?

they were involved with the Proclaimers? They along with Luka Bloom, Buddy Guy,and a cast a thousands are playing at a blues and roots festival here at Easter time.Maybe I SHOULD go. Looks like no sign of U2 on the Australian horizon. Although I don't have money to burn
