What happened in between? U2 burnout in the 90's? Couldn't get tickets?

Crap I knew that question would be asked. LOL.

I was 14 in 1987. U2 was my ultimate favorite band. I was an obsessed teen.

I cried through that entire concert.

After Rattle & Hum I took an unfortunate hiatus pretty much until I heard Beautiful Day. Though I still enjoyed U2, I was drawn into other forms of music by an influence. Blah. I kick myself everyday.

I actually met this guy in line(gosh, I can't remember his name) in Milwaukee who was seeing his 84th U2 show. Who knows how many more shows he's been to since then!

I was so jealous!

It's understandable!

I actually hated Zooropa so much when it came out that I didn't listen to U2 for 2 years! Funny thing is that Zooropa is one of my favorite albums now!

I was 12 when Zooropa came out, and that seems to be the stage where people switch their musical tastes more frequently.

I'm going back to see them on october 12 in Montreal, as Prop has done it for me again, for the 5th time, 3rd time on the Elevation Tour. add Popmart in 97 and the ZOO TV Outside Broadcast tour 12 1992.

ZOO TV-Detroit, 9-9-92
Elevation-Detroit, 5-30-01

I was a drooling teenage girl when I saw them in 1992, and unfortunately by the time POP came out I was into other things more heavily so I missed out.

Will be making up for lost time though this fall, and getting closer to them than I ever have been before! Whoooooo!!!
