In reply of an e-mail 'Jovem Pan' (from Brazil) said that they have the information about the release of the new u2 song but the date has not been set by the directors of the station.

I got to know today that my fave radio station here, Ipanema FM 94.9, played U2´s cover of Neon Lights last Tuesday night, Sep 14. Too bad I wasn´t home to listen to the song and the DJ´s comments.
Anyways, I wrote them asking about the premiere of Vertigo. Hope they answer me soon.
