hey! reminds me when a friend of mine back in early 90s tried really hard to make me a roxette fan. i was so into u2 and he would keep making me tapes and videos trying to prove me they were the biggest band in the world!

Creed? Maybe in the US, but I'm sure U2 are waaaay bigger worldwide. I don't know how U2 are classic either if they just released an album a year and a half ago.

A friend of ours here, he moved to our school from Russia, was a big Roxette fan. Gawd, he was Mr.80s, with his white walkman complete with stickers, and the fuzzy earphones, and roxette!! And this was 1998!!

Roxette suck! Well, he put us off them anyway

Um-hmm, "classic" is a bit of a dubious compliment, it shows respect but at the same time implies that the band/artist aren't "contemporary" anymore.
