Back when ATYCLB was first released, another person had a similar discussion - asking if "Elevation" was really about sex/sexual climax.

That person was flamed to a crisp and teased mercilessly until our voices were hoarse and our fingers numb.

Now, 1.5 years later, The Wanderer posts a similar thread. Not only is the though not original but it is just as silly as the post made back in 2000.

Ergo, the asexual creature known as The Wanderer should be flamed just as much as the poor soul was back then (and it wasn't me - I'm too dim-witted to pick up on sexual overtones in anything...and yes, that DOES explain a lot).

Not really. It's an emotional/deeper kind of elevation IMO the song is about, just like Streets is to me. It's about the joy that comes from within.

People have also claimed Mysterious ways and Until the end of the world had sexual references...(not in my book)

Besides, if I was employed by such an establishment, I'm sure I would have seen you there by now.

I do research on protein therapeutics, which can and does involve drugs that will help cancer patients. But I no longer do research on protein diagnostics.
