always when people star poiting out songs in the BOMB, yahweh always gets mentioned, and always i was

now i just finished watching the vertigo DVD, and im so sorry, the song is SO beautiful, i was moved almost to tears:sad:

oh and "40" is the best closer ever, use to think walk on, but the "one exit at a time" is much better

yahweh:drool:

Yahweh live is a great thing in fact I refuse to listen to the album version now.

U2 are still writing great songs.

I love both versions, but the live version is  My only regret with the DVD is that I like the way they did it in Europe and do it now, with the graphics on the LED curtains, especially the end when it looks like it's raining, Bono turns around and faces the curtains, and when you're in the front of the ellipse, it feels and looks so cool, like it's really raining down on you...

The DVD definitely turned around my impression of OOTS--now I love it. Oddly, I had the same reaction with IALW before I saw Boston. Hated them both, now I love them both.

Maybe I should just reserve judgment on all songs before I hear them live.
