I've ordered a deluxe set from Amazon.com, got shipping notification last evening, but dang, I want it NOW! I'm going out to get a CD tonight. I can keep one in the car and one in the house.

same exact thing I did, got the collectors and regular. I bought both today though.

Ran off to Best Buy this morning at 9:00a.m. and pick up a regular CD and the Deluxe Box. There were already people standing at the door waiting. 4 of us walked away with the Deluxe set at 9:15a.m. Amazing!

I'm tempted to buy the regular CD now.... the packaging of the CD in the Limited Deluxe Edition is ridiculous (not even a real case)

Me too - bought the collector's edition from CD Universe with expedited shipping but got hosed cause of the Thanksgiving holiday so it will be here until 11/29. So I went to Wal-Mart (yes Wal-Mart) and got the regular CD for $8.44.

Exactly, you have to get a regular version as well and then trade the CDs so you can put the one with Fast Cars in the regular case. What's an extra $10-$12?

I bought 1 cd, 1 deluxe edition and 2 collector's editions

I was also at Best Buy at 9am and there were about 20 people waiting outside
