Where the Street Have No Name" is one of my favorite videos by far. I would love to hear from anybody who happened to be in LA that day and was able to be there. Any stories?

Not a damn thing. I had just quit working in downtown LA and was not about to drive up there through the horrendous traffic one more time. I had heard about it on the radio, but made the decision not to go. Nowadays I tell myself that I probably wouldn't have been able to get close, but I know that's not true. A friend of a friend at the time is in the vid, so I know deep down that I'm full of shit.

But such is life.

sounds frustrating. I have the same feelings about missing the "heart of america tour" that Bono did with ashley judd and others in 2002. I could easily have driven out to Lincoln, Nebraska, or to Iowa City, but didn't so every time i think of it I too.......... .
