I liked "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" better when it was called "Bad" - Page 2 - U2 Feedback

So basically, what you are saying Robh, is that every slower U2 song is exaclty the same, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again?

Repetitiveness is annoying. First post, kind of funny, I'll admit. After that, it got old. Very quicky.

Oh please...you haven't noticed the blatant trolls all over this place starting stupid threads to get a reaction? please try and observe what is going on before sauntering in with your smug proclamations.

I've observed plenty here, one of those things being that sadly a sense of humour seems to be missing in quite a few U2 fans (including yourself). If you don't like a thread, don't post in it and it will go away (I would think that since you are so observant, you would have figured that out by now...you must be slipping dear). And talk about smug proclaimations....

Lighten up a bit -- it helps untwist your undies.

poking fun at the band is one thing...

but this thread is completely devoid of any and all humour...

if you're going to poke fun, at least make it funny? I laugh at jick's posts more than this.. and I think he might actually mean what he says.

I also liked the song when it was called "In the Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics. But I think "Sometimes..." is an improvement on "Living Years" as that one was a bit too sappy.

Ok, so some people dont find these funny. Fair enough. What is even more of a pisser is the dour reactions people have to anything they dont like - you know, like it matters or some shit. This site is like a boil on the arse of the internet sometimes.

Good work, fans.

This board got serious. You can only say and have fun with the good things. Otherwise... you're an idiot. And it became popular to call people idiots or criticise their threads. Like Indra said, don't reply on every post you see. Unless you really have something to say.

The only reason we critisize certain threads is because they are shit. If people stop creating shit threads, I'll stop "twisting me undies" in them.

Then it will never stop. You know, "if you stop twisting me undies I'll stop creating shit threads..."

You've been a long time, and current, 'resident'....yet you really do tend to criticize it quite often. The site is a reflection of those who are active on it, yourself included.
