I have a technical question...can anyone help me??

I know this is'nt really the place but I'm having a problem......here it goes...

I'm trying to download the Notre Dame show off U2achtung.com...I can get the download in my mp3 file but then it labels it "club file"and it will not play ...is there something simple I'm doing wrong ?

The site says you have change the extension from .club to .mp3.

They should work once you do this.

This may sound dumb....but what does change the extension mean?
I changed something from club files to all files...still no luck...

What I did was went to the preferences of the file, and typed in mp3 in place of document. Hopefully, someone will explain this better cause I'm far from a computer genius. So try it out.

browneyedgirl, if you are on Windows 98 or later: in Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > View tab. then make sure the 'hide file extensions for known types' is not checked. Click OK.

Now go to where the files are that u wanna rename. click it once so it's selected and go to File > Rename. now push right arrow key and delete(backspace) the club and type mp3 an hit enter. example.club is now example.mp3

Finally got it to work last night.....with lots of suggestions from you guys...
