When I was in Dublin in April, Martin at the Dockers told us that the studio will be around for another three months (because u2 still needs to finish their new album of course) and then be pulled down finally.

Does anyone here have an idea how long it will be standing actually?

so that's the main reason to the album taking that long. they don't want to have their studio pulled down.

Yes I think thats right, Martin told us the same the other week, lucky so and so got a fully guided tour around the studios about a month ago!
By the speed of the building around there by the time they've finished the new buildings will be up and at their front door!!!

Kinda sad really that its going to be pulled down

But at least we'll get on last album out of it...one last "Great Album" outta it!!
