High hopes met? - U2 Feedback

Early on I remember reports that Paul McGuinness thought certain songs from ATYCLB would be the biggest ever. The Elevation tour has certainly been a success, sales of the CD have been great, but it seems the new music hasn't taken hold of the masses like Achtung and JT. Do you think U2 can be happy with their effort? Does anyone know how sales compare with their other top-selling CD's?
