Apparently some guys got together and decided to play as U2 to a large crowd atop a building in New York City (ala "Where the Streets have No Name" ...but not on LA) and they pulled off a good 4 and a half songs before the police showed up and shut everything down. I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but if not, I thought some people here would find it a most amusing read

Dude, that's really cool! It's almost a crime to impersonate U2 and fool so many people, but at the same time it rules (and I think the real fans could tell the difference anyway). Just reading the accounts of all the people it took to make it happen...amazing!
