The perpetually handsome Mullen appears to have stopped ageing around the time of The Joshua Tree.

What's the best live version of Out of Control to use? The studio is good, but the energy is always amazing live. I know I'm NOT gonna use Cork's Opera House, funny as it is.

Rockpalast was pretty cool. Germany 83. I have it at work. I love that whole concert... two hearts also rocked in that concert. I said concert twice in a row. (make that three)

Try some of the live versions of Desire from the ZooTV tour. Also, has anybody mentioned Wire yet?

"You gotta love living, baby, 'cause dyin's a pain in the ass."-- Frank Sinatra

Adam: Look guys, I got a Springfield spoon for my spoon collection.
Edge: Oh boy, here we go...
Bono: Wow, how many is that now Adam?
Adam: Nine. If I didn't have my spoons, I'd go insane.
Bono: Can I see it?
*adam gives bono the spoon, bono throws it away*
Adam: My spoon!

Who gives a shit what they think?

Screw them!!!!!!!

They are the ones missing the good stuff.

I reckon a lot of so called hard rock-metal bands arent really that powerful or loud live anyway because their rhthym sections are often quite rubbish.Compare this to the awesome rythym section of Larry and Adam or the Verve's-A friend of mine who's seen stuff like Metallica and Pantera etc saw The Verve play a few years ago and told me they were much louder and powerful partly because of their pretty huge sounding rhthym section and Im sure its the same story with U2, in a slightly different way. Nothing against Metallica/hard rock fans though

I was going to suggest this song- it is the 'Hollywood 12" remix' of Desire, you can get in on Mp3 quite easily, other songs I would add are,

Daddy's gonna pay for your crashed car

Zoo station

God Part II

Star Spangled Banner followed by BTBS from Rattle and Hum
