Happy Bloomsday, Dublin!

Today is Bloomsday in Dublin! There's a big festival for the 100th anniversary of the famous day in Dublin when author James Joyce met his wife Nora, and the day most of his books take place. June 16, 1904!

I think there will also be events all over the world. There planned, public readings of Ulysses today here in San Francisco.

I really should try and read Ullyses one day, I've heard that it is quite hard going, though. Anyone here given it a go?

But I0m in love with the ending part -- aka "Molly's monologue".
Go and read it, coz it's so good!!!

In Italy, we don't feast this -- but I went out with a couple of friends to an Irish pub and we had a drink to feast the 100th anniversary!
