When R & H came out, much was made in interviews etc that Phil Joanou was a U2 fan before he got involved in the movie. And you can tell in his concert footage. He really loves the music.

Does anyone know if Hamish Hamilton is an actual fan? It obv would have some bearing on how he approaches the music.

I think it is more about style tho.. and Phil has a completely different style.. that personally I like and certainly came through with R & H.
