I finally got my collection of vinyl and Rolling Stone magazine covers framed & hung in our office - which Mr. Blu now refers to as 'the shrine' :madwife: . I don't have any intentions of expanding it right now, but I'm proud none the less & thought I'd take some pictures to share. And I know I've seen other photos before of collections much more impressive than mine, so if you've got a U2 room & want to share, post 'em here.

OK, when you walk into our computer room, this is right inside the door.

 Ok... that's odd. Any ideas why the code for my pics showed up & not the actual image???? This thread's pretty useless if I can't show the pictures that are supposed to initiate everyone else's replies. :help:

Apparantly Snapfish images don't work anymore :(
 Whaaaat?!?!? Crap - you go on vacation for a few days & everything falls apart. :grumpy: OK, so I'll try this again with a Shutterfly account.

As I was saying, this is what you see when you first walk into my home office/U2 room:

Alright, here's the rest. :applaud: This is to the right of the room, above the closet doors.

This is above & to the left & right of the windows:

Yeah.... that picture album is backwards. That's how it was printed, so we framed it as something unusual. (Although my obsessive/compulsive tendencies make me want to 'fix' it!! :reject:  )

And finally, there are the east & west walls of the room:

It's a fairly small collection, but I'm very pleased with it anyway. We don't have any plans to add to it right now, but I know eventually I'll either find some of the Rolling Stones covers I'm missing or another album will catch my attention.

Yeah... I'm all about some organization. I even have several pieces of confetti that I collected from our spot on the floor at the Charlotte Vertigo show. :reject: Maybe it's kind of lame, but I was REEEAAALLLLLY happy to be there.

This was my bedroom back in my hometown...I worked on all of this stuff during middle school and high school. We moved two weeks after I graduated though. It broke my heart to take everything down. :(

My closet door was covered in lyrics:

I also had the lyrics to whole songs typed up and hanging around my bed.

I don't have any U2 stuff up where I live now. But I still have stuff in my room at my dad's house:

Where did you find the frames for the CDs? I keep look for some but the only place I’ve found them is Ikea, but it says they only sell them out of the store, not online :madwife:

Would you believe I bought every one of those album frames at Wal-Mart for about $8 each?!

Actually, the CD holder that's in the center of the east wall also came from WalMart.....got it on clearance for about $10. It came with 6 panels, but I only have enough CDs for 4 of them so the other two are in storage until: a) U2 releases enough albums to fill them, or b) I start buying CD singles. :shh: Just don't tell Mr. Blu! :giggle:

And BC?...... Seriously sweet room! Completely tragic that you had to dismantle it. :(

Haha, love_U2_Adam, WHAT on earth is with the hand-written little piece of paper that says "Electricle Rainstorm" in pencil, with the quotation marks and spelling mistake included? Too cute.

Awesome pics in this thread.

Not worth pictures.

C'mon - all collectors have this (as well as all the other albums) on vinyl.

I am a DJ and have been dreaming about finding Zooropa on vinyl for about 10 years now. I can't even find it online, let alone in the record shops!

Zooropa on vinyl...

I still have a lot more to add, but hey I just moved in recently and am pretty proud of what I have so far. A lot is still in my room at home as well.

I'm so happy to have those 4 vinyls
