"Global Tune" live appreciation
Just got done watching Yahweh from the Vertigo Tour for the first time in a long time... and this is damn good.

It's nice, but I prefer the album version.

I love Edge's acoustic guitar on this live version, plus the Oh oh oh oh oh oh ooooohhh part with the crowd, that sounded cool on DVD! Mistakes and all, it's still a great closer with 40 because the crowd is in to it so much!
Can I get an Amen in here? ![]() |

I think the acoustic live version is lovely. It needs that subtlety, which is lacking in the album version.

Yahweh is my fav U2 song. The live performance is very uplifting and the videoscreen animated images help a lot too...

One word I think of is "Beautiful" when I hear it in the accoustic version.

I love both versions a lot. They're very different from one another.

Yahweh, it's cool but I would rather have something else on the DVD hehehe.

i think the acoustic version is so much better than the overblown, production heavy studio version.
